DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\nFUJI BJJ Jiu-Jitsu Expo: KC\n\nFUJI BJJ presents our first ever Jiu Jitsu Expo: KC! \n\nThere’s now over 30\,000 people doing Jiu Jitsu in Missouri alone. That tells us that we’re well overdue for a large\, multiday Jiu Jitsu Expo right here in the Midwest. This will be a first of it’s kind event in the heart of America. \nWith cash prizes\, sponsorship giveaways\, free seminars\, vendors\, and more\, this event seeks to bring the Midwest Jiu-Jitsu community together like never before! \nTOURNAMENT DETAILS:  \nThis is a two day event.\nDay 1 (Saturday):\n-Male – Adult/Master Divisions – Gi & Nogi (16+) \nDay 2 (Sunday):\n-Female – Adult/Master Divisions – Gi & Nogi (16+)\n-Kids Divisions – Gi & Nogi (4-15) \nAll Day 2 competitors have the option to weigh in early\, on Saturday from noon to 3pm.\nThe Victor Hugo seminars will be at noon both days. We will be adding a pause to the matches so that everyone has a chance to attend.\nDate: 01/17-18/2026 \nVenue: KCI Expo Center \nAddress: 11730 N Ambassador Dr\, Kansas City\, MO 64153\, USA \nFormat: Depending on the bracket size we offer best of three\, round robin\, and modified double elimination brackets to ensure everyone gets more than one match. \nAge Standards: Age 4 and Up \nAll States Welcome! \nIMPORTANT DATES\nEarly Bird registration deadline: 05 Dec (11:59 pm) \nNormal registration deadline: 02 Jan (11:59 pm) \nLate registration deadline: 12 Jan (11:59 pm) \nCheck Day (last day to change weight without fee) is the Wednesday before the event. \nMerging of uncontested divisions will happen the Wednesday before the event. \nThe schedule will be published the Thursday before the event. \nDoors Open/Weigh-ins begin: Day of event (8:00 am) \nMatches Begin: Both Days (9:00 am) \nSPECTATOR FEE:\n$20 – All passes are water resistant and good for both days! \nKids 12 & under are free. \nEach academy will receive at least 1 free coaches pass. The amount of free passes depends on how many students from that academy are registered for the event. At least 1 free pass per 5 students will be available.
